Traction for Scoliosis?

I am trying everything possible to get rid of this hump on my back caused by scoliosis. I have an 80 degree curve and I hate it so much everything I wear looks horrible!!! What is traction and will it help? Does it matter that I've already had my spine fused? If so I might have the rods taken out for this new treatment. I heard that traction isn't permenant?? Someone give me some hope I am so upset by this nothing seems to work! :'(
