This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. What happened to parental responsibility? Had her child been home, had she been watching her child like a responsible mother should he would not have had the opportunity to walk across that pipe and fall into the water.She should be charged with negligence.What was the city to do? Assign a personal babysitter for her unsupervised child? It is the responsibility of every parent to teach there child that there are repercussions to dangerous activities. Some children are never found when drownings happen. What happened to tragedy and accidents. This lawsuit SHOULD NOT move forward because it will set a precedent. Cities will start being help responsible for people's failure to use common sense.
