I dont get it, whats the point of having a girlfriend?

Why not just masturbate or get a dog if your lonely or hire hooker that will do things most women would never do. I dont see how guys do it, pretending for years to actually like a girl as a friend and acting like you care about her personality. That you like her for more than her physical appearence and that morethan a sex object to you. Just for 2 seconds of sex and this con called "love". "Love" is just a passion that grows colder and becomes less over time. The sexual relations between a man and a woman, is a source of very little pleasure and much suffering. Most guys must be insane or masochists.
