Why does my Volvo accelerate so slow?

I have a 2000 volvo S70 GLTSE and upon turning the car on, several engine lights appear including a blinking arrow, ABS, brake light and a traction light. Then the cars acceleration is very slow. Even if I floor the pedal and push 4000 rpms, my engine whines but the car moves extremely slow. Anyone know whats wrong?
