Car brake question. My ABS and Low Traction lights come on occasionally.?

While trying to stop the brakes were soft. It finally stopped, then the brake pedal sort of jumped up. There has been a a clicking noise just before I stop. A mechanic test drove it and found nothing wrong yesterday, but I know something is wrong. Any ideas.
