How do I do a real smooth take off in a standard transmission car?

Classic beetle's clutch cable have to be adjusted overtime. Likely this is why you are not getting a smooth take off. If the cable is adjusted right letting off the clutch pedal halfway the car should start to move this way you can ease on the gas for a smooth take off. Get the brakes fixed for your safety and others. Burnouts? you won't do much of that I an bug....
